Duties of office-Bearers

(1) |
The President shall during his term of office preside at all general meetings and all meetings of the Committee and shall be responsible for the proper conduct of all such meetins. He shall have the casting vote and shall sign the minutes of each meeting at the time they are approved. He shall also represent the Association in its dealings with outside persons.

(2) |
The Vice-president shall assist the President and deputise for him in his absence |
| |

|
| |
(3) |
The Secretary shall conduct the business of the Addociation in accordance with the rules, and shall carry out the instrutions of the general meeting and the committee. He shall be reponsible for conducting all correspondence and keeping all books, documents and paper except the accounts and finacial records, He shall attend all meeting and record the proceedings, he shall maintain an up-to-date membership register consisting of detail such as name, identity card number, date/place of birth, name/address of employer and pratice / residential address.

(4) |
The Assistant Secretary shall the Secretary in carrying out his dutues and shall act for him in his absence. |

(5) |
The Treasurer shall be responsible for the finances of the Association. He shall keep accounts of all its financial transactions and shall be responsible for their correctness.

(6) |
The Ordinary Committee members shall carry out such duties as directed by the President of the Committee.

|
|
| Financial Provisions |

| |
(1) |
Subject to the following provisions in these rules, the funds of the Association may be expended for any purpose necessary for the carrying out of its objects, including the expenses of its administration, the payment of salaries, allowances and expenses of its office-bearers and paid staft, and the audut of its accounts. but they shall on no account be used to pay the fine of any member who may be convicted in a court of law. |

(2) |
The Tresurer may hold a petty cash advance not exceeding RM 200/- at any one time. All money in excess of this sum shall, within seven days of receipt, be deposited in a bank approved by the Committee.The bank account shall be in the name of the Addociation |

(3) |
All cheques or withdrawal notices on the Association's account shall be signed by two signatories from the following office-bearers: President, Secretary or Treasurer.

(4) |
Expenditure below RM 500/- may be incurred upon agrement by rwo of the following office bearers: President, Secretary or Treasurer. Expenditure up to but not excceding RM 10,000/- at any time may be incurred with the prior premission of the Committee. Any single item of expenditure excceding RM 10,000/- shall require the approval of the members of the Association at an Extraordinary General Meeting.

(5) |
As soon as possible after the end of each financial year i.e.31th December, a statement of receipts and payments and a balance sheet for the year shall be prepared and audited by the Auditors appointed under rule 10. The audited accounts shall be submitted for the approval of the next annual general meeting, and copies shall be made avaiable at the registered place of business of the Association for the perusal of members

| Audit |

(1) |
Two voting members, who shall not be office-bearers of the Association, shall be appointed by the annual general meeting as Honorary Auditors. They shall not hold office for two consecutive years.

(2) |
The Auditors shall be required to audit the accounts of the Association for the year, and to prepare a
report or certificate for the annual general meeting. They may also be required by the President to audit the accounts of the Association for any period within their tenure of office at any date, and make a report to the Committee.

| Meeting, Lectures and Presentations |
| |
| |
(1) |
Attendance at all meetings and lectures shall ordinariy be restricted to members only. |
| |
|
|
| |
(2) |
Anything to the contrary not withstanding, the President and the Committee may extend invitations to specific guests and / or the public when the occasion arises. |

|
|
| |
(3) |
Non-members may attend lectures after paying a fee. The fee shall be determined by the Committee. The Committee reserves the right to alter or waive the fees at its discretion. |
